Host to Host Disaster Recovery
Host to Host Disaster Recovery feature allows VSquare to automatically backup any virtual machine from any host and restore it to another target host where it can stay turned off and ready to be used in case of a disaster.

Find and restore any file from your backup
VSquare supports granular file restore of all your backups out of the box. Also, by default, VSquare will scan all the contents of each virtual disk at the end of every successful backup to create a high performance index that can be searched any time by clicking on the Search Files button in the Datacenters Manage section.

Executing OnDemand Backup Jobs
Learn how to manually execute an OnDemand job using VSquare command line. This type of scheduling is particularly useful whenever you may need to execute a backp job together with another set of operations from within a batch. An example may be some kind of power on / power off cycle for some client machines or maybe having the backup launched by a tape storing software. You can keep all the configuration inside VSquare, but you can choose how and when the job is executed.

One of the most important is probably the overhaul of the task execution system that now implements the concept of channel types. Instead of simply executing parallel tasks, VSquare assign to all tasks a channel based on the resource usage of the task itself.
