VSquare server API keys and instance name

Satellite applications such as VSquare Desktop Agent Service, use an API key to register to a remote VSquare instance and verifiy that the remote instance can accept the requests.

Each VSquare instance API key is created after the first startup phase, right after installation and can be found in the about dialog of the Anywhere Administration Console once you connect. This is the value you need to specify each time an installation asks for your VSquare API Key.



Please note that Agent and API key will change if you fully reinstall VSquare but will stay the same if you upgrade or reinstall keeping old configuration. Instance name instead is assigned when you install a VSquare Backup instance and will change only if you decide so.
