VSquare 2.3 Patch notes
This document contains all of the updates and fixes that are contained in VSquare Backup version 2.3. Please read each note carefully as it may contain vital information on upgrading your current VSquare Backup installation.
Client
- You can now see general task state from the Task Manager view
- Aknowledging a virtual machine error will now correctly update the virtual machine manage list
- Fixed a inconsistency with Monthly and Daily days selection in the Backup Scheduling dialog
Reporting
- Backup, Restore and Task execution reporting data can now be redirected also to SQL Server database. Supported reporting eninges are now Mail, PDF, SharePoint and SQL Server
Server
- Cloud CRC rebuild is now threated as a Disk Intesive task type
- Fixed a task execution race condition that could cause two tasks for the same machine to execute simultanously and lock each other
- Offline license will not require an online name anymore.
Cloud
- Fixed a bug that could cause an Hyper-V vhdx to be recognized as much bigger than the size provisioned before uploading.
- Fixed a bug that cause some specific files to be staged more than once.
Backup
- Fixed an issue that could cause a disk to be skipped if the previous disk had no sector differences
Restore
- Files and folders restore now set original file dates
Publish
- Fixed a publishing bug that could cause a network storage publishing to fail on specific folders
Reporting
- Added a new Cloud Storage reporting task that will outline cloud usage and aging for a Corporate Cloud Storage installation type
