Reinstalling VSquare keeping current configuration

If you ever need to fully reinstall, update or upgrade VSquare while keeping all of your current configurations, schedules and settings you can follow the steps detailed below:

- Stop the VSquare Server service
- Once stopped, browse folders to your VSquare installation directory (eg c:\program files\Vsquare Backup)
- Copy all of the contents of the folder Data to another location outside of the VSquare installation directory
- Inside the \Server folder, copy the file VSquare.BackupService.exe.config to another location outside of the VSquare installation directory
- Delete all of the VSquare Backup installation folder, including the \Data folder you've just copied elsewhere
- Install the desired version of VSquare Backup
- Once the main installation is complete, the VSquare Configuration Wizard will start
- Do not enter anything in the wizard and exit immediately without configuring VSquare
- The installation will have created a new Data directory inside the installation folder
- Copy all of the contents of the Data directory you've copied to the newly created Data directory. Overwrite if prompted
- Start the VSquare Server service

VSquare will find the previous configuration and start normally with the new version. All of your previous data will be still available.
