Automatic Backup Retries

VSquare uses the most advanced backup technologies for each supported hypervisor. Backup is made taking into account all the best practices that allow you to create a secure copy with the least impact on your infrastructure.

Despite this, there may be situations in which the backup of a specific virtual machine is temporarily impossible. For this reason, VSquare provides a special option that automatically encodes a failed backup and retries it later.

The failed backup is automatically rescheduled to the bottom of the backupset queue running and executed up to 3 times. If the backup fails 3 times, VSquare assumes that it is definitely impossible to back up the virtual machine and give up.

To enable this feature, you should check the "Enqueue again and retry failed virtual machines" check on the backupset.
